Mu Drop moves your 200MB files with no account, no ads, no upsell screen. Gõ VN teaches typing with cloud-synced bests, also free. "Free forever" is stated on both pages and meant — but the box they run on bills $15 every month, and the donation bowl currently reads $0.00. Free for you was never free to run; someone just hasn't been asked yet.
No salaries, no growth budget, no vague "support the mission." Donations pay the server line first — $15 covered means every free tool stays up another month. The bar moves by hand when money lands, honestly, and the first donation triggers a rehearsed deer dance. Bank transfer works today (zero domestic fees), crypto is live now, card slots open when the owner connects them.
The bowl is not a paywall and never becomes one. If the tools helped and a dollar is spare, feed Mu — if not, keep sharing files and typing Vietnamese. Both help.
